Xcel Energy will replace 5.5 miles of natural gas line near Highway 10/Highway 61 in Cottage Grove and St. Paul Park. The South Washington Natural Gas Project will connect to aboveground regulator stations which regulate natural gas pressure.
Construction will begin this spring and continue through fall 2022. During 2021, we expect to work in the following areas:
- West Point Douglas Road
- East Point Douglas Road
- Belden Boulevard
- Hastings Avenue
